Chisinau, 10 Mai 2012 — East Europe Foundation (EEF) is seeking a Director for Development and Evaluation, who will work under the direct supervision of the EEF President to develop and implement fundraising, monitoring and evaluation strategies with an emphasis on funding diversification, sustainability and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual with a significant commitment to good governance, human rights, social and economic development; with abilities to plan and execute effective fundraising, monitoring and evaluation strategies; significant knowledge of Moldova’s donor community, including governmental and business sectors.

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience in social sciences, human rights, economics, law or other relevant fields.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic planning, fundraising, project proposal development, project monitoring and evaluation.

Other: Extensive knowledge of Moldova’s public and private actors and international community. Fluency (reading and writing) in Romanian, English and Russian languages. Computer skills. Comfortable with public speaking. Problem solver, excels at prioritizing multiple projects and completing tasks accurately and on time. Ability to engage in long term planning and goal setting. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Superior interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communications skills.
